FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE CLINIC TAKING PLACE?

The 2023 clinic will give campers the option of three different weeks to enhance their skills. Week one will take place the week of

June 24-June 28, 2024; Week two on July 8-12, 2024; and Week three on July 29-August 2, 2024.  Each week of camp will be conducted at the Marshfield Youth Baseball League fields on Webster Street in Marshfield, Massachusetts (Wheeler Complex).

*NEW* Junior Rams FUN-damentals (ages 5-7) will take place July 22-26 at the same location.  This session is designed to act as a bridge between Tee-ball and the next levels of baseball or softball.  Times will be 9:00am to noon each day. 

WHAT ARE HOURS?

Children should be dropped off at 9:00 am and picked up at 2:00 pm.  During the week of camp, players will enjoy 22 to 23 'hours on learning', something that would take many practices and games to accomplish.

WHAT AGE RANGE CAN ATTEND THE CLINIC?

The clinic is best suited for Marshfield Baseball players ages 8 to 12.  Should you have questions, please contact us.

ARE THE CAMPERS BROKEN UP BY AGE?

 

Campers are separated in daily activities by AGE group and ABILITY.  This is done to ensure that every player is safe, having fun, and challenged by the group of their peers.

WHAT SHOULD CHILDREN BRING WITH THEM ?

Children should arrive daily with a healthy lunch, hydrating drinks, sunscreen, cleats, a baseball glove, and a hat.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER?

We will make every effort to conduct camp as scheduled.   Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds due to weather.  In general, a Marshfield Elementary School Gym will be used in the event of forecasted inclement weather.

HOW MUCH IS THE CLINIC TUITION?

Each week will consist of five days of instruction for $250.  There is a $25 discount for each additional family member who registers.

WHO ARE THE COACHES?

Clinic Director, Joe Belmosto, is a Braintree High School teacher and Asst. Varsity baseball coach. He has extensive experience teaching, coaching and playing baseball. All other coaches and staff will be made up of Marshfield High School Coaches and former players.

IS THE CAMP INSURED AND SANCTIONED BY MYBL?

Complete Game Baseball Clinic carries an insurance rider and is officially registered with both the Town of Marshfield and the Marshfield Recreation Department. Should you have additional questions, please contact us.
